I will work on the wheels and the mechanical functions of E-Bikes, but will likely not be able to work on electric issues, due to lack of product information for most bikes.

I had a spoke break on my road bike and after 6 different shops telling my I need to invest in new wheels or order the spoke from overseas. I went to Stoic wheels and Brian had me back on the road In a matter of minutes. He custom cut the spoke and installed it on the spot without price gouging me. A level of craftsmanship, expertise and honesty that is hard to find now days.

From Wyoming, connected with Bryan to have some spokes cut and threaded. I was at a loss trying to find some. He hooked me up with better spokes for a great price, then helped me diagnose a brake issue over the phone. Highly recommended five star service!

I went to 3 bike shops before stopping at Stoic Wheels. Nobody wanted to work on my rear hub motor. Brian, however, was able to install new 12G spokes for my 3,000w rear hub motor. I was surprised. Now, 200 miles down the road, it still looks/feels brand new. Brian did excellent work and even went ahead and cleaned the dirt and debris off my rim. Highly recommend checking out the shop. I had a great experience. 10 months and 1.5k miles later: spokes still going strong with good tension all around. No complaints.

Update - This year I needed some wheels built up for my new gravel bike. Brian was awesome through the whole process. The touch of gold nipples with black on black wheels, rims, spokes, and hubs really elevated this bike looks wise. Also the Stoic branded hubs are amazing so far just the right amount of noise without being annoying. The hubs offer great engagement as well when grinding uphill. Also, the wheels saved a huge amount of weight over the touring wheel set I had beforehand. Thank you again for amazing work and customer service. Great service and a great price. Brian was amazingly helpful in getting the right front wheel replacement on my Surly Disc Trucker. I wanted to get my first dymo wheel and Brian helped make it easy and fast. He said that it would take about 7 days to build my wheel. It took 5 and he was willing to help with my Surly warranty claim as well. You can really see the passion for not only cycling in this shop but in providing a high quality of service. If I need anything done to our bikes this would be my first pick in the future.

Stoic wheels has a stellar reputation within the cargo and ebike communities (among other cyclists Iβm sure). This is because they know how to build strong custom wheels and are a great company to work with. The stock wheels on my cargo trike broke spokes frequently because I ride it hard daily and carry heavy loads especially since I upgraded to electric. A couple years ago Stoic upgraded my wheels and I hardly had to adjust them afterword and NO broken spokes. Recently I wanted to upgrade to fat and tubeless tires. Stoic helped me find the right parts including tires and then built them up right. Itβs a huge difference. Now I just need to find a better way to do the fenders.
